Equine and Facility Administrative Assistant

Volunteered at MTR for over 2 years before being hired in March 2010. Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Equine Studies at the University of Maryland College Park. Loves teaching the volunteers, helps with the volunteer workshops and orientations. Super organized. Helps take care of all the horses and schedule their appointments. Coordinates with the Equine Manager to make sure all the horses are healthy and happy.

Equine and Facility Assistant

Megan began riding horses at age 13 and has been hooked ever since. While in college at Centenary College in New Jersey, she competed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association and started her Therapeutic Riding Certification process. She graduated May 2010 from with a degree in Equine Studies with a concentration in communication for the equine industry. In October 2010 Megan started working at MTR where she has completed her instructor certification. She is excited to be a part of the team and loves working with the horses, volunteers and riders.
